This GU Ferco Tripact multipoint door lock mechanism is the updated G1199 mech which now has a deadbolt rather than just a latch as it did previously. The lock mechanism features 2 tongue hooks and is operated by lift lever action.To reverse the latch, (depending on the date of manufacture) either 1. Push the latch in to reveal a screw in the side of the case, undo the screw to remove the latch, then reverse, reinsert and replce the screw OR 2. Insert a small, flat bladed screwdriver in the small slot on the side of the case marked R/L. Push upwards to release the latch, reverse and reinsert.
