Fire mate is a fire retardant sealant that swells when exposed to temperatures in excess of 125 degree celsius to prevent the passage of fire and smoke. Independently tested and fire rated to EN1366-4(2006). Can be used in joints up to 50mm wide and 25mm deep. Halogen free. Suitable for sealing and filling gaps in fire rated partition walls and strctures, sealing through gaps in fire rated walls and service trunkings. Also suitable for sealing around fire doors frames. Excellent acoustic properties for sound deadening.
